Connor Building and Remodeling started in 1980 as a residential siding company established by Robert Connor Sr. (Bob) known to the North Shore as Connor Home Improvement. For the next 20 years through relationships and referrals built on honesty, quality, integrity, and commitment, Bob continued growing the company to include home additions, renovations and new construction homes. Along with being a devoted carpenter, Bob was also a devoted father of 5 children, of which one became very interested in construction at a young age.

Robert Connor II began his career with the company as early as 15 years old and has never known another job. For the next 15 years whether it was stripping roofs, installing siding, framing entire homes, or installing interior trim, Rob and Bob worked side by side with there employees to self perform nearly every aspect of a home build. Whether is was framing complex rooflines on a 10,000 sq./ft homes, installing custom oak staircases, or simply installing a storm door, we self performed it all. Due to this experience and expertise we have continued to grow the company together to what is now known as Connor Building and Remodeling.

Connor Building and Remodeling is still the same boutique style family owned and operated company as the original Connor Home Improvement was. When you call  Connor, you get a call back from a Connor. For the last 10 years our focus now has slightly shifted to large scale renovations, additions, and custom homes. Through our hammer in hand experience, we have developed an exceptional eye for detail with the goal of, no detail is to small. “It’s all about the details”. This philosophy is shared by our employees and trade partners which creates one of the finest teams in Massachusetts. We work hand in hand with our trades, clients, and architects to bring some of the most difficult details to life. This attention to detail, coupled with our honesty, integrity, and patience has help make us one of the most sought after style builders to work with for Home owners and architects alike.
